It's just over a year ago that I had to liquidate the Wellbeing Clinic. Why am I telling you this? Because your business journey is not linear. February 2001, I did my first Reflexology client in their own home. In May, I registered my first company.

It's just over a year ago that I had to liquidate the Wellbeing Clinic.

Why am I telling you this? Because your business journey is not linear.
February 2001, I did my first Reflexology client in their own home.
In May, I registered my first company.

For the next 12 months, I worked part-time as a reflexologist.
By the end of 2002, I had my first £1000 month.
In 2003 I moved my mobile clinic into someone else's centre. I took a little time out. To have my second child and study Hopi ear candling and Indian head massage.

By the end of the year, I had my first multi four-figure month.
In 2004 I bought the Wellbeing Clinic (Multi-Disciplinary Clinic) turned it into an Ltd company. After an initial rocky few months,

I invested in a business coach who helped me grow to the next level of my business vision. (This changed my world)

I put in a new business model moving away from the traditional room rental.
2006 was my first 6 figure year (net).
May 2010 I looked to buy another clinic but decided against it.
March 2018 I wrote my best-selling book "From Client To Clinic Owner - How To Create Your Wellbeing Business From The Inside Out and registered another business as a business coach.

April 2020 covid happened and I had no choice but to close the clinic for good.
Today, right now, I'm celebrating my first year working full-time as a business coach. I can deliver my services anywhere that has an internet connection. (Norwich - Cornwall - Wales)

The point of this story?

Is that your business journey is like a rollercoaster.
I didn't have it all figured out I still don't. I did have a dream a vision of what I wanted.
I followed my inner knowing,
I innovated an entirely new business model for the industry,
I (definitely) built a lot of resilience,
I grew as a person moving from fearful and shy to a woman who is still learning but trusts herself to try and learn,
I kept going.
When someone told me no...
you can't do it that way,
your dyslexic you can't write a book,
it's too much of a risk
(Just so you know if you tell me NO I will always look for the YES!)
I chose another direction looked for the next path in the road.
Keep going, you have got this.
